Here, writ large, is the second part of my exploration of the collection of Anka Kus Parfums based in Melbourne Australia. Founded and created by Ali Erkekli, a perfumer of renown and wide heart.
Jezebel created in 2019, captured me instantly, not only for its array of desirous notes of construction but primarliy because of what she carried in her garments, sequestered away, awaiting a curious soul to wander by and unpleat her millenium folds
A shapesifter, extraordinaire she darts in out of my occluded peripheral vision begging me to stare into her deepening gaze. “Do I wilt in thy presence oracle or do I stand statue held consumed by your perpetually captivating presence.”
A trickster of the senses you lead me astray from the path of the known, willingly I acquiesce. How does she fly with wanton eyes as wings into my sphere, she is undeniable, a consummate addiction that in my full knowledge, I engage.

Abandon is my only recourse, in the face of this essence that is a form beyond my expectations, nothing about her is as it seems, the parts of her written in words I comprehend, pear and chocolate, rose, vanilla all give rise to a sum greater than the parts, like notes written in a symphony, something of greater tenure is at work. In her rich and sensual heart she takes the very breath of me, measures my breadth and leaves the blood in my veins aching for more. Folly or Fortune, I do not know but that question is irrelevant as the journey will be undertaken regardless.
Everything of I is written on her skin, etched from the very beginning, in her I have ever existed. A primordial certainty. Jezebel is whatever you desire her to be, she is all things to man or woman and stirs within you, deepest yearnings you may not have known you possess. Shocking and revelatory she has a voyage to take you on.

Residues of burnt offerings, incense flown to the winds float and descend as a thousand-fold winged creatures alight after a great disturbance, as dust stirred in a shaft of brilliance. For disturb you she must, to ignite in you a phosphoric intensity of longing with a fire that does not burn, yet in its flaring pares you away and offers you up to your fathomless desires. Jezebel is a liberation, rise from age old stereotypes and cherish this opportunity to soar, I present Jezebel disrobed of her infamy and seen with clearer eyes, you choose. You have been shaken and stirred, dusted off, the layers of self scattered and breathed upon by the dust of eternal tombs laced with immortal proportions of desire. Irresistible.
Like mosses cling to perpetual stones, you have been touched by an ageless sorcery.
